Who are the tutors?
Our professional tutors are current/ex-school teachers, graduates, undergraduates from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore Management University (SMU) and Singapore Institute of Management (SIM), as well as fulltime tutors who have a minimum A' level certificate. They are carefully screened and verified before joining us.

What are the charges like?
The charges are based on type of tutors (i.e. current/ex-school teachers, fulltime tutors or graduates) and the level of study of student (i.e. lower/ upper primary, secondary or junior colleges). See Pricings. Registration is free, for a limited time only. To avoid disappointment, join us NOW!

What is the mode of payment?
We accept Credit Card payment through PayPal.

Is there minimum number of hours required for an appointment?
Yes, the minimum number of hours for an appointment is 1 hour. Subsequent appointments are to be in blocks of 1 hour.

How long in advance should I book my appointment?
An appointment must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.

Can I change my appointments after booking?
Yes, booked appointments can be rescheduled provided the same tutor has other available timeslots. Changing of appointments must be done 48 hours before the original appointments commences.

What if I booked an appointment but did not turn up or was late for it?
It is the student's responsibility to remember their appointments and turn up punctually. There will be no refund for missed or turning up late for a lesson.

Are there any monthly costs or fees of being a tutor?
No, there are no monthly costs or fees of being a tutor. Registration as a tutor is free of charge.

Can I register as a tutor?
You must be a current/ex-school teacher, graduate, undergraduate or a fulltime tutor currently residing in Singapore. You must have a minimum academic qualification of A' level certificate and good grades in the subjects that you wish to teach.

How will I be paid after I had conducted online tuition sessions with a student?
The tuition fees for the sessions that you had conducted for a particular month, after deduction of 20%, will be paid to you on the 20th of that month and the 5th of the following month.
For sessions conducted between 1st and 15th inclusive of a particular month, will be credited to your account on the 20th of that month. For example, if you had conducted a session on the 10th January 2008, you will receive the fees on the 20th January 2008.
For sessions conducted between 16th and 31st inclusive of a particular month, will be credited to your account on the 5th of the following month. For example, if you had conducted a session on the 28th January 2008, you will receive the fees on the 5th February 2008.
Note: If 5th and 20th falls on a sunday/public holiday, you will receive the fees on the next working day. -
How would I know if a student has booked an appointment with me?
You will be notified through your registered email. As a tutor, it is your responsibility to check your emails regularly and turn up for appointments punctually. In the event that you are late for an appointment or missed an appointment, an administrative charge of SGD 150 will be imposed.

Once a student has booked an appointment with me, can I reschedule it?
No, tutors are not allowed to reschedule their booked appointments.
